What platform do you build these websites on?
We specialize in WordPress.
Is this different than the Signature Website?
In this service we are creating a completely custom website. In the Signature Website package we customize a website template from our shop.
Do you develop ecommerce sites?
Yes! For shopping carts and e-commerce development we use the WooCommerce platform.For an additional fee, we will develop the structure of the shop, complete 3 full product examples, and then show you how to implement the remaining products and variances to complete your shop. Please contact us to discuss the platform’s capabilities and your specific needs.
Do I need to pay a retainer fee?
Yes! We book a number of clients who are looking to get a website up as soon as possible. Once we book the design week for you, that means we do not book anyone else. The retainer fee is non-refundable to make sure that we honor the week we’ve set aside just for you, and for our other clients. Final payment is due one week before start date. 
What will the finished project include?
You get a finalized Word-mark logo, a FREE Mood board, a fully implemented and launched custom website, a one hour briefing of how to update your website, and all the graphic files used in your website.
Additional add ons are available for your website;

• Product based shop- For an additional $897, e-commerce functionality for up to 25 simple products (price, photo, description) OR 10 complex products (variable options), plus cart, checkout and account set up. Integrate with your favorite payment gateway and you’re in business!

 
Extra web pages;
     • Privacy Policy, Terms and Conditions and Disclaimer pages – $225 each
     • Other additional pages starting at – $597 each
• Customized portfolio or gallery $600
• Blog transfer $250 (either Blogger or WordPress.com)

• Additional logo revisions will be $50 per concept revision and additional revisions on web designs will be $150 per revision. 
How long does the process take?

The actual design process is only 10 business days. We book design weeks a month or so out giving you plenty of time to complete your Brand Assignment.

Is a logo included in this package?
YES! We include A FREE Word-mark logo, which is a text-only typographic logo, as a gift to our clients so that they will have a fully finished professional product. Our Free logo includes ONLY 2 different concepts and 1 revision. If you’re looking for a more official logo & branding process, that can be purchased at an additional fee.
How many website pages does this include?

We customize up to 6 pages. This typically includes the home page, blog, contact page and 3 other pages. More pages can be added for an additional fee.

What do I need to have ready before I start?
We need all of your content before we can start the project (images, website copy, etc). We’ll guide you through the steps of our Brand Assignment that needs to be completed one week before your design week. Included in the Brand Assignment is The Feather & Ink Design Questionnaire and a Pinterest Board with 50 to 60 pins that needs to be completed by you. 
Do you offer Monthly Website Maintenance?

Yes! I will send more information at your request. Monthly maintenance packages are only available to those on WordPress, and to those we have worked with previously; this is not available to brand new clients.
